This site is not an "official" Val Lewton page. The only site with that claim (as far as I know) is Ken Yousten's excellent VAL LEWTON HOME PAGE here.

This site originally started as a page on geocities in 1998 about the Lewton/Tourneur film I Walked With A Zombie. That site is still up and running at geocities here.

In 2001 that geocities site expanded into a general site on Lewton & his films, moved to my graphic design site eeweems.com, then finally to its own domain here. This exists primarily as an exercise in webmaking, also to share the information I have collected over the years. Many thanks go to the people who have pointed out the errors in this site as it has gone along - - particularly my grammar and spelling.
